On April 1, 2012, the rumors were revealed true as Adult Swim pulled an April Fools joke that involved it airing Toonami bumpers along with old shows from it such as Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon and others.
Just about a day after, Adult Swim made a twitter page allowing viewers to vote on Toonami’s return.[1] And if it goes well, Toonami will be the first block on Cartoon Network to be reinstated due to popular demand. The sudden change made nostalgic Cartoon Network fans overjoyed as they had been asking for the block’s return for almost half a decade, and Cartoon Network finally gave in and allowed them to vote for it.
